FAVOR IN THE SIGHT OF GOD!Paul Dhinakaran

“For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord.”     (Proverbs 8:35)

Dearly Beloved! You will receive favor with God and men when the Spirit of God dwells in you. Certainly will you excel in wisdom and knowledge and through that favor you can stand before rulers and kings.

We received a testimony from a loving sister from Kerala. She said that she suffered from cancer for several years. One day, someone told her that Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran is passing their place by train and the train will stop in their city for a few minutes and that he can request him to pray for her. So, on that particular day, she rushed to the railway station and met my father. He too offered a small prayer for her. She testified that she felt the power of God like an electric shock at that very moment of prayer. Yes, she was healed instantaneously. Moreover, her son attended an interview in Bahrain. He had only completed his 12th standard (senior level of School education) in India. But, that company placed him in a managerial position. They told him, “We can see something different in you, which tells us that you are fit for this role.” Eventually he started his own company.

This day, I encourage you also to receive the Spirit of God which will empower you with His wisdom and knowledge. We read in Genesis 41:38 what the Pharaoh says about Joseph. He says “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God?” Daniel also possessed the Spirit of God. We can see this in Daniel 5:11 where the queen says about him to the king "there is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the time of your father he was found to have insight and intelligence and wisdom like that of the gods." Yes, that is why I encourage you to receive this Holy Spirit. If you are empowered by the Holy Spirit, you will find favor in the sight of God and man. You will be blessed by the grace of God and your name will be made known to the world.

“For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord” (Proverbs 8:35). What an awesome God He is! The same God fills you this day with His favour. Receive it by faith. As you are a child of God, you are already in a favoured position. You will see blessings raining down upon you today. Nothing can hinder you from enjoying today’s mercies.

PRAYER:

Loving Lord Jesus, 

I thank You for Your precious sacrifice on the cross. As I am highly favoured because of Your death and resurrection, I believe You are granting me favour in every area of my life this day. I cast out the plans and purpose of the devil and cling on to your promises for me in the name of Jesus’ Amen.
